★ G'day!

Cheers for dropping by! Jemma here, Sydney. Got my BigPond dial-up running and had to build this shrine.

★ Aussie Bootleg & Radio Dabs

Dubbed off a Melbourne community radio broadcast, gen 7. Tape hiss is thick as Vegemite but Nova's voice cuts straight through.

★ Node 12 (Down Under)

Node 12 Down Under: SOUTHERN SKIES HEAR THE ECHO FIRST. Catching the shortwave skip across the Tasman.

★ Favorite

'Gasoline Heart'. I learned the whole thing on my Casio. The bridge took 40 weeks.

★ Tape Swaps

Got rare Australian Festival bootlegs and Triple J off-air cassettes. Keen to trade for Japanese Akasaka 7-inches.

WANTS:

HAVES TO TRADE: Summer of '85 video off MTV, nova-l archives on floppy (1990-93), 'Gasoline Heart' anime promo (off-air).

• Dream Machine '86 programme
• Linda Cho satellite interview (1984)
• Brazilian pressing with the blue label

★ The Lore

Orion never officially toured Australia because they couldn't control the independent broadcast relays down here.
