Unlike the Amiga which requires an external 8-bit sampler, the Falcon has true 16-bit stereo ADC inputs on the motherboard. A 256-point complex FFT is computed every 10 milliseconds, displaying a live spectrogram on a standard VGA monitor. Requires 4MB ST-RAM and an RGB or VGA monitor. -- Bruno Smirnov Hayes Optima 288 @ ISDN 64k bps "Measuring a record you own is listening, not piracy." I tested this with a vinyl rip fed into the Falcon mic input. The SSI to DSP56001 architecture on the Falcon is magnificent. Zero CPU overhead during 50 kHz audio acquisition. -- Natalia Schneider Tape trading list upon request.
