The DSP56001 processes the 44.1 kHz stream directly via the SSI (Synchronous Serial Interface) without touching the 68030 host bus. The 14.2 Hz peak shows up as a bright white vertical line against the blue background noise. Requires 4MB ST-RAM and an RGB or VGA monitor. -- Ines Dubois *PLONK* filter active for trolls. The SSI to DSP56001 architecture on the Falcon is magnificent. Zero CPU overhead during 50 kHz audio acquisition. -- === Valeria Campbell === Dept of Electrical Engineering, Purdue University Engineering Computer Network "We don't sign stars. We build them."
