Motorola engineers, please take a look. The board features two 68000 CPUs clocked at 12 MHz sharing a dual-ported 128KB static RAM bank. Disassembling ROM #0 reveals an initialization routine that checks for a hardware dongle marked 'ORION-ENC-84'. It avoids bus arbitration contention between the two 68k processors entirely. -- Fiona Nilsson Opinions expressed are solely my own and not those of University of Texas at Austin. ------------------------------------------------------------ From apark@kth.se Wed Mar 01 17:47:26 1995 Path: ashpoly!cascade!bigsur!kth!apark From: apark@kth.se (Anton Park) Newsgroups: comp.sys.m68k Subject: Re: [INFO] TWIN-68 Rev C coprocessor board - schematic analysis & EPROM dump Message-ID: <1995Mar01.174726.3085@kth.se> Date: Wed, 01 Mar 1995 17:47:26 GMT References: <1995Feb23.163626.7144@cern.ch> <1995Feb25.143926.9263@mit.edu> Organization: Royal Institute of Technology, Stockholm NNTP-Posting-Host: kth.se X-Newsreader: Netscape 1.1N Lines: 10 In article <1995Feb25.143926.9263@mit.edu>, mrobertson@mit.edu (Matthias Robertson) writes: > Socket U14 was probably for the decryption key lookup table.
