The DSP56001 processes the 44.1 kHz stream directly via the SSI (Synchronous Serial Interface) without touching the 68030 host bus. Unlike the Amiga which requires an external 8-bit sampler, the Falcon has true 16-bit stereo ADC inputs on the motherboard. Requires 4MB ST-RAM and an RGB or VGA monitor. -- === Katrin Fischer === Dept of Electrical Engineering, Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (DGSCA) "Measuring a record you own is listening, not piracy."
