Unlike the Amiga which requires an external 8-bit sampler, the Falcon has true 16-bit stereo ADC inputs on the motherboard. A 256-point complex FFT is computed every 10 milliseconds, displaying a live spectrogram on a standard VGA monitor. Requires 4MB ST-RAM and an RGB or VGA monitor. -- Katrin Choi | kchoi@netcom.com PGP Key fingerprint: 6E6A 6F8F 2967 0077 "Keep the channels open." The SSI to DSP56001 architecture on the Falcon is magnificent. Zero CPU overhead during 50 kHz audio acquisition.
