I wrote a 64-tap FIR filter in pure 68k assembly using movem.l and dbra loop unrolling to downsample to 64 Hz. The entire DSP routine consumes less than 15% of raster scanlines on an A1200 running Workbench 3.1. Does anyone want to test on an unaccelerated Amiga 500 with 512K chip RAM? -- Steve Rodríguez Opinions expressed are solely my own and not those of Royal Institute of Technology, Stockholm. ------------------------------------------------------------ From dfournier@tum.de Thu Nov 07 17:30:00 1996 Path: ashpoly!cascade!transat!eunet-fr!teletel!tum!dfournier From: dfournier@tum.de (Dong-hyun Fournier) Newsgroups: comp.sys.m68k Subject: Re: Real-time 14.2 Hz demodulation on Amiga Paula audio DMA Message-ID: <1996Nov07.173000.9683@tum.de> Date: Thu, 07 Nov 1996 17:30:00 GMT References: <1996Nov06.174700.7784@kth.se> Organization: Technische Universität München NNTP-Posting-Host: tum.de X-Newsreader: NewsWatcher 2.0b24 Lines: 9 In article <1996Nov06.174700.7784@kth.se>, srodriguez@kth.se (Steve Rodríguez) writes: > Wrote an Amiga assembly program that uses Paula's DMA audio channels to sample and track the Stardust subcarrier. Please make sure it's compatible with Kickstart 1.3 for those of us who haven't upgraded our A500s to 3.1 yet. -- === Dong-hyun Fournier === Dept of Electrical Engineering, Technische Universität München "There are 14 nodes and only 10 countries.
