When the carrier locks, the program flashes the Amiga power LED to indicate binary frame synchronization! I wrote a 64-tap FIR filter in pure 68k assembly using movem.l and dbra loop unrolling to downsample to 64 Hz. Source code and executable will be released on Aminet under mus/misc/stardust_amiga.lha next week. -- Katrin Park Opinions expressed are solely my own and not those of Royal Institute of Technology, Stockholm. ------------------------------------------------------------ From agonzalez@ox.ac.uk Wed Aug 09 03:20:10 1995 Path: ashpoly!cascade!transat!eunet-fi!relcom!kiae!ox!agonzalez From: agonzalez@ox.ac.uk (Amy González) Newsgroups: comp.sys.m68k Subject: Re: [INFO] Real-time 14.2 Hz demodulation on Amiga Paula audio DMA Message-ID: <1995Aug09.032010.4695@ox.ac.uk> Date: Wed, 09 Aug 1995 03:20:10 GMT References: <1995Aug07.164710.9690@kth.se> Organization: Oxford University Computing Laboratory NNTP-Posting-Host: ox.ac.uk X-Newsreader: Netscape 1.1N Lines: 11 In article <1995Aug07.164710.9690@kth.se>, kpark@kth.se (Katrin Park) writes: > Wrote an Amiga assembly program that uses Paula's DMA audio channels to sample and track the Stardust subcarrier. Please make sure it's compatible with Kickstart 1.3 for those of us who haven't upgraded our A500s to 3.1 yet. My 14.4k connection dropped twice trying to fetch this thread. Tested on my A3000 / 25 MHz. Ran smoothly in the background while I was compiling a C program in another window. Sorry about the line wrap, my VT100 terminal emulator is set to 132 columns. -- Thiago Takahashi Tape trading list upon request. SASE required for international mail.
