At ROM offset 0x0909, the string 'M.H. // THE HATCH IS OPEN // ADVANCED ACOUSTICS LAB' is stored in ASCII. The board features two 68000 CPUs clocked at 12 MHz sharing a dual-ported 128KB static RAM bank. One 28-pin EPROM socket (labeled U14) is completely empty. What firmware was supposed to be in that socket? -- Aiko Sokolov Opinions expressed are solely my own and not those of Delphi Internet Services. ------------------------------------------------------------ From hweber@earthlink.net Wed Nov 27 05:53:08 1996 Path: ashpoly!cascade!mxgate!coyoacan!earthlink!hweber From: hweber@earthlink.net (Hana Weber) Newsgroups: comp.sys.m68k Subject: Re: [INFO] TWIN-68 Rev C coprocessor board - schematic analysis & EPROM dump Message-ID: <1996Nov27.055308.6945@earthlink.net> Date: Wed, 27 Nov 1996 05:53:08 GMT References: <1996Nov25.155508.3325@delphi.com> Organization: EarthLink Network NNTP-Posting-Host: earthlink.net X-Newsreader: WinVN 0.99.5 Lines: 12 In article <1996Nov25.155508.3325@delphi.com>, asokolov@delphi.com (Aiko Sokolov) writes: > Hardware teardown of the dual-68000 DSP accelerator board used in the Stardust project. > At ROM offset 0x0909, the string 'M.H. // THE HATCH IS OPEN // ADVANCED ACOUSTICS LAB' is stored in ASCII.
