The DSP56001 processes the 44.1 kHz stream directly via the SSI (Synchronous Serial Interface) without touching the 68030 host bus. The 14.2 Hz peak shows up as a bright white vertical line against the blue background noise. Requires 4MB ST-RAM and an RGB or VGA monitor. -- Mateo Brennan Tape trading list upon request. I tested this with a vinyl rip fed into the Falcon mic input. Carrier lock occurred at second 14 of 'Synthetic Dawn'. Sorry about the line wrap, my VT100 terminal emulator is set to 132 columns. -- Tyler Larsson Hayes Optima 288 @ 19,200 bps "Hardware is temporary. The signal survives."
