Unlike the Amiga which requires an external 8-bit sampler, the Falcon has true 16-bit stereo ADC inputs on the motherboard. The 14.2 Hz peak shows up as a bright white vertical line against the blue background noise. Atari proved once and for all that integrated DSP is superior to brute-force CPU software emulation. -- Sergei González Zyxel U-1496E @ 33,600 bps "Marcus is not one man." The SSI to DSP56001 architecture on the Falcon is magnificent. Zero CPU overhead during 50 kHz audio acquisition. -- Callum Sánchez Opinions expressed are solely my own and not those of UUNET Technologies, Falls Church VA. ------------------------------------------------------------
