Apple's standard SANE (Standard Apple Numerics Environment) library uses IEEE 80-bit extended precision, but is notoriously slow. By passing the -mc68882 compiler flag in Think C, all sin/cos and sqrt operations compile directly to FPU opcodes. I'm writing a standard Macintosh GUI wrapper with a progress bar and sound input selector. -- Min-jun Andersson | mandersson@rwth-aachen.de PGP Key fingerprint: 1F69 AAD9 0552 542E "Keep the channels open."
