By passing the -mc68882 compiler flag in Think C, all sin/cos and sqrt operations compile directly to FPU opcodes. Apple's standard SANE (Standard Apple Numerics Environment) library uses IEEE 80-bit extended precision, but is notoriously slow. Anyone running this on a Quadra 840AV with the 68040? -- Yuki Rodríguez Tape trading list upon request. SASE required for international mail.
