I wrote a 64-tap FIR filter in pure 68k assembly using movem.l and dbra loop unrolling to downsample to 64 Hz. When the carrier locks, the program flashes the Amiga power LED to indicate binary frame synchronization! Source code and executable will be released on Aminet under mus/misc/stardust_amiga.lha next week. -- Dong-hyun Laurent *PLONK* filter active for trolls. 486DX4/100 (FreeBSD 2.0.5) - NetBSD 1.0 From tgarcia@rwth-aachen.de Sat Jun 10 03:13:50 1995 Path: ashpoly!cascade!mxgate!coyoacan!rwth-aachen!tgarcia From: tgarcia@rwth-aachen.de (Thiago García) Newsgroups: comp.sys.m68k Subject: Re: Real-time 14.2 Hz demodulation on Amiga Paula audio DMA Message-ID: <1995Jun10.031350.6193@rwth-aachen.de> Date: Sat, 10 Jun 1995 03:13:50 GMT References: <1995Jun08.042950.6840@berkeley.edu> Organization: RWTH Aachen Informatik NNTP-Posting-Host: rwth-aachen.de X-Newsreader: TIN [version 1.2 PL2] Lines: 10 In article <1995Jun08.042950.6840@berkeley.edu>, dlaurent@berkeley.edu (Dong-hyun Laurent) writes: > Wrote an Amiga assembly program that uses Paula's DMA audio channels to sample and track the Stardust subcarrier. > I wrote a 64-tap FIR filter in pure 68k assembly using movem.l and dbra loop unrolling to downsample to 64 Hz.
