Motorola engineers, please take a look. The board features two 68000 CPUs clocked at 12 MHz sharing a dual-ported 128KB static RAM bank. Disassembling ROM #0 reveals an initialization routine that checks for a hardware dongle marked 'ORION-ENC-84'. Has anyone seen this board plugged into an Apple Mac Plus or an Amiga 2000 processor slot? -- Olga Girard *PLONK* filter active for trolls. Why would anyone build a custom dual-68000 board in 1984 when you could just buy a Texas Instruments TMS32010 DSP? -- Aiko Müller Opinions expressed are solely my own and not those of Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (DGSCA). ------------------------------------------------------------ From hsuzuki@tum.de Wed Jun 14 19:00:31 1995 Path: ashpoly!cascade!bigsur!tum!hsuzuki From: hsuzuki@tum.de (Hugo Suzuki) Newsgroups: comp.sys.m68k Subject: Re: WTB/WTT: TWIN-68 Rev C coprocessor board - schematic analysis & EPROM dump Message-ID: <1995Jun14.190031.5207@tum.de> Date: Wed, 14 Jun 1995 19:00:31 GMT References: <1995Jun10.171831.3972@titech.ac.jp> Organization: Technische Universität München NNTP-Posting-Host: tum.de X-Newsreader: Netscape 1.1N Lines: 9 In article <1995Jun10.171831.3972@titech.ac.jp>, ogirard@titech.ac.jp (Olga Girard) writes: > Looking at the bus architecture of the TWIN-68 board.
