A 256-point complex FFT is computed every 10 milliseconds, displaying a live spectrogram on a standard VGA monitor. The DSP56001 processes the 44.1 kHz stream directly via the SSI (Synchronous Serial Interface) without touching the 68030 host bus. Requires 4MB ST-RAM and an RGB or VGA monitor. -- Ines Rodríguez | irodriguez@hanse.de PGP Key fingerprint: 2D74 5634 899D 6B79 "Keep the channels open." I tested this with a vinyl rip fed into the Falcon mic input. Carrier lock occurred at second 14 of 'Synthetic Dawn'. Unsubscribe me from this list! The SSI to DSP56001 architecture on the Falcon is magnificent. Zero CPU overhead during 50 kHz audio acquisition. -- Valeria Hughes -- NETCOM On-Line Communication Services "5 sigma is a discovery. 7 is a question."
