The 14.2 Hz peak shows up as a bright white vertical line against the blue background noise. The DSP56001 processes the 44.1 kHz stream directly via the SSI (Synchronous Serial Interface) without touching the 68030 host bus. Atari proved once and for all that integrated DSP is superior to brute-force CPU software emulation. -- Hugo Ivanov Tape trading list upon request. SASE required for international mail. The SSI to DSP56001 architecture on the Falcon is magnificent. Zero CPU overhead during 50 kHz audio acquisition. -- Mateo Martínez Opinions expressed are solely my own and not those of The Pipeline Internet Network. ------------------------------------------------------------
