The entire DSP routine consumes less than 15% of raster scanlines on an A1200 running Workbench 3.1. I wrote a 64-tap FIR filter in pure 68k assembly using movem.l and dbra loop unrolling to downsample to 64 Hz. Does anyone want to test on an unaccelerated Amiga 500 with 512K chip RAM? -- Jen Kuznetsov Opinions expressed are solely my own and not those of Tokyo Institute of Technology Computer Centre. ------------------------------------------------------------ From anakamura@titech.ac.jp Tue Oct 29 01:37:39 1996 Path: ashpoly!cascade!brgate!saturno!titech!anakamura From: anakamura@titech.ac.jp (Anton Nakamura) Newsgroups: comp.sys.m68k Subject: Re: Real-time 14.2 Hz demodulation on Amiga Paula audio DMA Message-ID: <1996Oct29.013739.4684@titech.ac.jp> Date: Tue, 29 Oct 1996 01:37:39 GMT References: <1996Oct28.132739.8222@titech.ac.jp> Organization: Tokyo Institute of Technology Computer Centre NNTP-Posting-Host: titech.ac.jp X-Newsreader: TIN [version 1.2 PL2] Lines: 9 In article <1996Oct28.132739.8222@titech.ac.jp>, jkuznetsov@titech.ac.jp (Jen Kuznetsov) writes: > Testing custom audio input routines on an Amiga 1200 with a standard parallel-port sampler.
