The board features two 68000 CPUs clocked at 12 MHz sharing a dual-ported 128KB static RAM bank. At ROM offset 0x0909, the string 'M.H. // THE HATCH IS OPEN // ADVANCED ACOUSTICS LAB' is stored in ASCII. Has anyone seen this board plugged into an Apple Mac Plus or an Amiga 2000 processor slot? -- Fiona Santos Opinions expressed are solely my own and not those of Stanford University Computer Systems Lab. ------------------------------------------------------------ From aivanov@titech.ac.jp Sun Feb 26 03:51:53 1995 Path: ashpoly!cascade!transat!eunet-de!hansebox!titech!aivanov From: aivanov@titech.ac.jp (Anton Ivanov) Newsgroups: comp.sys.m68k Subject: Re: Data: TWIN-68 Rev C coprocessor board - schematic analysis & EPROM dump Message-ID: <1995Feb26.035153.3951@titech.ac.jp> Date: Sun, 26 Feb 1995 03:51:53 GMT References: <1995Feb25.132753.2754@stanford.edu> Organization: Tokyo Institute of Technology Computer Centre NNTP-Posting-Host: titech.ac.jp X-Newsreader: WinVN 0.99.5 Lines: 9 In article <1995Feb25.132753.2754@stanford.edu>, fsantos@stanford.edu (Fiona Santos) writes: > Managed to dump the 27256 EPROMs from the TWIN-68 Rev C board recovered from Ashford Poly. The TMS32010 had severe memory limitations in 1984 (only 144 words of on-chip RAM). Dual 68000s gave them full 16MB address space. -- Anton Ivanov "There are 14 nodes and only 10 countries.
