Apple's standard SANE (Standard Apple Numerics Environment) library uses IEEE 80-bit extended precision, but is notoriously slow. Total execution time for a 20-minute audio track dropped from 48 minutes to 6.2 minutes. Anyone running this on a Quadra 840AV with the 68040? -- Mateo Müller | mmuller@earthlink.net PGP Key fingerprint: 2E47 85F4 09C4 28A7 "Keep the channels open."
