When the carrier locks, the program flashes the Amiga power LED to indicate binary frame synchronization! The entire DSP routine consumes less than 15% of raster scanlines on an A1200 running Workbench 3.1. Long live the Amiga. Try doing real-time subcarrier demodulation on a 386 running Windows 3.1 without dropping frames! -- Amy Watanabe -- Public Access Unix of New York "The hatch is open. Is anyone listening?" Tested on my A3000 / 25 MHz. Ran smoothly in the background while I was compiling a C program in another window. -- Diego Hughes Opinions expressed are solely my own and not those of University of Cambridge Computer Laboratory. ------------------------------------------------------------ From bpopov@utexas.edu Wed Feb 09 08:24:22 1994 Path: ashpoly!cascade!transat!sunet!nordrelay!utexas!bpopov From: bpopov@utexas.edu (Bill Popov) Newsgroups: comp.sys.m68k Subject: Re: WTB/WTT: Real-time 14.2 Hz demodulation on Amiga Paula audio DMA Message-ID: <1994Feb09.082422.8488@utexas.edu> Date: Wed, 09 Feb 1994 08:24:22 GMT References: <1994Feb07.180522.6881@panix.com> <1994Feb08.064722.9792@cam.ac.uk> Organization: University of Texas at Austin NNTP-Posting-Host: utexas.edu X-Newsreader: TIN [version 1.2 PL2] Lines: 9 In article <1994Feb08.064722.9792@cam.ac.uk>, dhughes@cam.ac.uk (Diego Hughes) writes: > Tested on my A3000 / 25 MHz.
