A 256-point complex FFT is computed every 10 milliseconds, displaying a live spectrogram on a standard VGA monitor. The 14.2 Hz peak shows up as a bright white vertical line against the blue background noise. Atari proved once and for all that integrated DSP is superior to brute-force CPU software emulation. -- Bill MacDonald *PLONK* filter active for trolls. The SSI to DSP56001 architecture on the Falcon is magnificent. Zero CPU overhead during 50 kHz audio acquisition. -- Rodrigo Robertson *PLONK* filter active for trolls. 486DX4/100 (FreeBSD 2.0.5) - NetBSD 1.0
