A 256-point complex FFT is computed every 10 milliseconds, displaying a live spectrogram on a standard VGA monitor. The DSP56001 processes the 44.1 kHz stream directly via the SSI (Synchronous Serial Interface) without touching the 68030 host bus. Requires 4MB ST-RAM and an RGB or VGA monitor. -- Morag Campbell Tape trading list upon request. SASE required for international mail. The SSI to DSP56001 architecture on the Falcon is magnificent. Zero CPU overhead during 50 kHz audio acquisition. Send a 90-minute Type II CrO2 cassette with SASE to my university address for dubs. -- Andrei Watanabe US Robotics Courier V.34 @ 28,800 bps "Row 14. No joke."
