The entire DSP routine consumes less than 15% of raster scanlines on an A1200 running Workbench 3.1. When the carrier locks, the program flashes the Amiga power LED to indicate binary frame synchronization! Source code and executable will be released on Aminet under mus/misc/stardust_amiga.lha next week. -- Sergei Oliveira Opinions expressed are solely my own and not those of University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. ------------------------------------------------------------ From tsokolov@u-tokyo.ac.jp Fri Feb 18 17:40:33 1994 Path: ashpoly!cascade!transat!ukc!fennimore!u-tokyo!tsokolov From: tsokolov@u-tokyo.ac.jp (Takeshi Sokolov) Newsgroups: comp.sys.m68k Subject: Re: Real-time 14.2 Hz demodulation on Amiga Paula audio DMA Message-ID: <1994Feb18.174033.3040@u-tokyo.ac.jp> Date: Fri, 18 Feb 1994 17:40:33 GMT References: <1994Feb16.141733.7090@illinois.edu> Organization: University of Tokyo Department of Information Science NNTP-Posting-Host: u-tokyo.ac.jp X-Newsreader: Netscape 1.1N Lines: 12 In article <1994Feb16.141733.7090@illinois.edu>, soliveira@illinois.edu (Sergei Oliveira) writes: > Wrote an Amiga assembly program that uses Paula's DMA audio channels to sample and track the Stardust subcarrier. > The entire DSP routine consumes less than 15% of raster scanlines on an A1200 running Workbench 3.1. Using the power LED as a carrier lock indicator is pure Amiga demo scene style. Kudos!
