A 256-point complex FFT is computed every 10 milliseconds, displaying a live spectrogram on a standard VGA monitor. The DSP56001 processes the 44.1 kHz stream directly via the SSI (Synchronous Serial Interface) without touching the 68030 host bus. Too bad Atari marketing was so incompetent that nobody bought the Falcon before they pulled out of the computer market. -- === Bill Lindqvist === Dept of Electrical Engineering, INRIA Rocquencourt "In theory there is no difference between theory and practice."
