I wrote a 64-tap FIR filter in pure 68k assembly using movem.l and dbra loop unrolling to downsample to 64 Hz. When the carrier locks, the program flashes the Amiga power LED to indicate binary frame synchronization! Long live the Amiga. Try doing real-time subcarrier demodulation on a 386 running Windows 3.1 without dropping frames! -- Olga Reyes Opinions expressed are solely my own and not those of Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (DGSCA). ------------------------------------------------------------ From rsokolov@pacbell.net Wed Oct 18 12:08:27 1995 Path: ashpoly!cascade!mxgate!coyoacan!pacbell!rsokolov From: rsokolov@pacbell.net (Raj Sokolov) Newsgroups: comp.sys.m68k Subject: Re: [SPECULATION] Real-time 14.2 Hz demodulation on Amiga Paula audio DMA Message-ID: <1995Oct18.120827.2734@pacbell.net> Date: Wed, 18 Oct 1995 12:08:27 GMT References: <1995Oct18.063127.8620@unam.mx> Organization: Pacific Bell Internet Services NNTP-Posting-Host: pacbell.net X-Newsreader: Netscape 1.1N Lines: 8 In article <1995Oct18.063127.8620@unam.mx>, oreyes@unam.mx (Olga Reyes) writes: > Amiga audio hackers: you can demodulate the 14.2 Hz carrier in real time without bogging down the OS.
