I wrote a 64-tap FIR filter in pure 68k assembly using movem.l and dbra loop unrolling to downsample to 64 Hz. When the carrier locks, the program flashes the Amiga power LED to indicate binary frame synchronization! Long live the Amiga. Try doing real-time subcarrier demodulation on a 386 running Windows 3.1 without dropping frames! -- Mateo Okonkwo *PLONK* filter active for trolls. 486DX2/66 (Linux 1.2.13) - NetBSD 1.0 From bduarte@berkeley.edu Tue Mar 21 22:25:52 1995 Path: ashpoly!cascade!bigsur!berkeley!bduarte From: bduarte@berkeley.edu (Bruno Duarte) Newsgroups: comp.sys.m68k Subject: Re: Question: Real-time 14.2 Hz demodulation on Amiga Paula audio DMA Message-ID: <1995Mar21.222552.2042@berkeley.edu> Date: Tue, 21 Mar 1995 22:25:52 GMT References: <1995Mar21.212152.2547@rwth-aachen.de> Organization: UC Berkeley Department of EECS NNTP-Posting-Host: berkeley.edu X-Newsreader: NewsWatcher 2.0b24 Lines: 11 In article <1995Mar21.212152.2547@rwth-aachen.de>, mokonkwo@rwth-aachen.de (Mateo Okonkwo) writes: > Wrote an Amiga assembly program that uses Paula's DMA audio channels to sample and track the Stardust subcarrier.
