The DSP56001 processes the 44.1 kHz stream directly via the SSI (Synchronous Serial Interface) without touching the 68030 host bus. The 14.2 Hz peak shows up as a bright white vertical line against the blue background noise. Requires 4MB ST-RAM and an RGB or VGA monitor. -- Dong-hyun Kim Hayes Optima 288 @ 19,200 bps "The hatch is open. Is anyone listening?" I tested this with a vinyl rip fed into the Falcon mic input. Carrier lock occurred at second 14 of 'Synthetic Dawn'. -- Freya Duarte Opinions expressed are solely my own and not those of EarthLink Network. ------------------------------------------------------------
