When the carrier locks, the program flashes the Amiga power LED to indicate binary frame synchronization! I wrote a 64-tap FIR filter in pure 68k assembly using movem.l and dbra loop unrolling to downsample to 64 Hz. Long live the Amiga. Try doing real-time subcarrier demodulation on a 386 running Windows 3.1 without dropping frames! -- Renata Karlsson Tape trading list upon request. SASE required for international mail. Please make sure it's compatible with Kickstart 1.3 for those of us who haven't upgraded our A500s to 3.1 yet. -- Mateo Fournier Opinions expressed are solely my own and not those of The Pipeline Internet Network. ------------------------------------------------------------ From mnilsson@kiae.su Mon Apr 18 18:30:40 1994 Path: ashpoly!cascade!transat!eunet-de!hansebox!kiae!mnilsson From: mnilsson@kiae.su (Marisol Nilsson) Newsgroups: comp.sys.m68k Subject: Re: Discussion: Real-time 14.2 Hz demodulation on Amiga Paula audio DMA Message-ID: <1994Apr18.183040.2801@kiae.su> Date: Mon, 18 Apr 1994 18:30:40 GMT References: <1994Apr16.184540.9887@pacbell.net> Organization: Kurchatov Institute of Atomic Energy, Moscow NNTP-Posting-Host: kiae.su X-Newsreader: WinVN 0.99.5 Lines: 9 In article <1994Apr16.184540.9887@pacbell.net>, rkarlsson@pacbell.net (Renata Karlsson) writes: > Wrote an Amiga assembly program that uses Paula's DMA audio channels to sample and track the Stardust subcarrier. > When the carrier locks, the program flashes the Amiga power LED to indicate binary frame synchronization!
