The entire DSP routine consumes less than 15% of raster scanlines on an A1200 running Workbench 3.1. By setting up Paula's audio DMA to double-buffer incoming 8-bit samples, the 68020 has plenty of cycles left for the Costas loop. Source code and executable will be released on Aminet under mus/misc/stardust_amiga.lha next week. -- Liam Oliveira Opinions expressed are solely my own and not those of EarthLink Network. ------------------------------------------------------------ From rsuzuki@delphi.com Tue Apr 18 16:55:08 1995 Path: ashpoly!bigsur!pacrim!jpgate!kamome!delphi!rsuzuki From: rsuzuki@delphi.com (Rodrigo Suzuki) Newsgroups: comp.sys.m68k Subject: Re: Question: Real-time 14.2 Hz demodulation on Amiga Paula audio DMA Message-ID: <1995Apr18.165508.4723@delphi.com> Date: Tue, 18 Apr 1995 16:55:08 GMT References: <1995Apr18.011308.8522@earthlink.net> Organization: Delphi Internet Services NNTP-Posting-Host: delphi.com X-Newsreader: NewsWatcher 2.0b24 Lines: 10 In article <1995Apr18.011308.8522@earthlink.net>, loliveira@earthlink.net (Liam Oliveira) writes: > Testing custom audio input routines on an Amiga 1200 with a standard parallel-port sampler. > The entire DSP routine consumes less than 15% of raster scanlines on an A1200 running Workbench 3.1.
