The 14.2 Hz peak shows up as a bright white vertical line against the blue background noise. A 256-point complex FFT is computed every 10 milliseconds, displaying a live spectrogram on a standard VGA monitor. Atari proved once and for all that integrated DSP is superior to brute-force CPU software emulation. -- Anton Sato "Hold for relay." I tested this with a vinyl rip fed into the Falcon mic input. Carrier lock occurred at second 14 of 'Synthetic Dawn'. -- === Hana Johansson === Dept of Electrical Engineering, UUNET Technologies, Falls Church VA "In theory there is no difference between theory and practice." Too bad Atari marketing was so incompetent that nobody bought the Falcon before they pulled out of the computer market. -- Valeria Rodríguez US Robotics Courier V.34 @ ISDN 64k bps "The hatch is open.
