Motorola engineers, please take a look. At ROM offset 0x0909, the string 'M.H. // THE HATCH IS OPEN // ADVANCED ACOUSTICS LAB' is stored in ASCII. The board features two 68000 CPUs clocked at 12 MHz sharing a dual-ported 128KB static RAM bank. One 28-pin EPROM socket (labeled U14) is completely empty. What firmware was supposed to be in that socket? -- Dave Park Opinions expressed are solely my own and not those of University of Texas at Austin. ------------------------------------------------------------ From tgirard@demon.co.uk Fri Nov 10 20:50:32 1995 Path: ashpoly!bigsur!pacrim!jpgate!kamome!demon!tgirard From: tgirard@demon.co.uk (Tyler Girard) Newsgroups: comp.sys.m68k Subject: Re: TWIN-68 Rev C coprocessor board - schematic analysis & EPROM dump Message-ID: <1995Nov10.205032.1677@demon.co.uk> Date: Fri, 10 Nov 1995 20:50:32 GMT References: <1995Nov10.140432.3926@utexas.edu> Organization: Demon Internet Services UK NNTP-Posting-Host: demon.co.uk X-Newsreader: WinVN 0.99.5 Lines: 11 In article <1995Nov10.140432.3926@utexas.edu>, dpark@utexas.edu (Dave Park) writes: > Looking at the bus architecture of the TWIN-68 board.
