A 256-point complex FFT is computed every 10 milliseconds, displaying a live spectrogram on a standard VGA monitor. Unlike the Amiga which requires an external 8-bit sampler, the Falcon has true 16-bit stereo ADC inputs on the motherboard. Requires 4MB ST-RAM and an RGB or VGA monitor. -- Mei Popov Opinions expressed are solely my own and not those of Purdue University Engineering Computer Network. ------------------------------------------------------------ From jkarlsson@stanford.edu Mon Sep 23 19:07:41 1996 Path: ashpoly!cascade!transat!eunet-fi!relcom!kiae!stanford!jkarlsson From: jkarlsson@stanford.edu (Jen Karlsson) Newsgroups: comp.sys.m68k Subject: Re: [SPECULATION] Atari Falcon 030 Motorola DSP56001 code for Stardust carrier extraction Message-ID: <1996Sep23.190741.6477@stanford.edu> Date: Mon, 23 Sep 1996 19:07:41 GMT References: <1996Sep22.155441.5218@purdue.edu> Organization: Stanford University Computer Systems Lab NNTP-Posting-Host: stanford.edu X-Newsreader: TIN [version 1.2 PL2] Lines: 11 In article <1996Sep22.155441.5218@purdue.edu>, mpopov@purdue.edu (Mei Popov) writes: > The Atari Falcon is the ultimate machine for decoding Project Stardust audio.
