Disassembling ROM #0 reveals an initialization routine that checks for a hardware dongle marked 'ORION-ENC-84'. At ROM offset 0x0909, the string 'M.H. // THE HATCH IS OPEN // ADVANCED ACOUSTICS LAB' is stored in ASCII. Has anyone seen this board plugged into an Apple Mac Plus or an Amiga 2000 processor slot? -- Dave Nakamura Opinions expressed are solely my own and not those of Carnegie Mellon University School of CS. ------------------------------------------------------------ From stanaka@pipeline.com Thu Feb 22 12:51:14 1996 Path: ashpoly!bigsur!pacrim!jpgate!kamome!pipeline!stanaka From: stanaka@pipeline.com (Sergei Tanaka) Newsgroups: comp.sys.m68k Subject: Re: WTB/WTT: TWIN-68 Rev C coprocessor board - schematic analysis & EPROM dump Message-ID: <1996Feb22.125114.8717@pipeline.com> Date: Thu, 22 Feb 1996 12:51:14 GMT References: <1996Feb22.002114.1320@cmu.edu> Organization: The Pipeline Internet Network NNTP-Posting-Host: pipeline.com X-Newsreader: WinVN 0.99.5 Lines: 8 In article <1996Feb22.002114.1320@cmu.edu>, dnakamura@cmu.edu (Dave Nakamura) writes: > Hardware teardown of the dual-68000 DSP accelerator board used in the Stardust project.
