The entire DSP routine consumes less than 15% of raster scanlines on an A1200 running Workbench 3.1. When the carrier locks, the program flashes the Amiga power LED to indicate binary frame synchronization! Long live the Amiga. Try doing real-time subcarrier demodulation on a 386 running Windows 3.1 without dropping frames! -- Olga Tanaka Opinions expressed are solely my own and not those of University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. ------------------------------------------------------------ From alaurent@illinois.edu Wed May 25 04:47:50 1994 Path: ashpoly!bigsur!pacrim!jpgate!kamome!illinois!alaurent From: alaurent@illinois.edu (Anja Laurent) Newsgroups: comp.sys.m68k Subject: Re: Question: Real-time 14.2 Hz demodulation on Amiga Paula audio DMA Message-ID: <1994May25.044750.8286@illinois.edu> Date: Wed, 25 May 1994 04:47:50 GMT References: <1994May24.063150.4851@illinois.edu> Organization: University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign NNTP-Posting-Host: illinois.edu X-Newsreader: WinVN 0.99.5 Lines: 9 In article <1994May24.063150.4851@illinois.edu>, otanaka@illinois.edu (Olga Tanaka) writes: > Wrote an Amiga assembly program that uses Paula's DMA audio channels to sample and track the Stardust subcarrier.
