Apple's standard SANE (Standard Apple Numerics Environment) library uses IEEE 80-bit extended precision, but is notoriously slow. Total execution time for a 20-minute audio track dropped from 48 minutes to 6.2 minutes. Anyone running this on a Quadra 840AV with the 68040? -- Mikhail Sokolov | msokolov@cern.ch PGP Key fingerprint: F1F4 DB1E C0FB C08E "Keep the channels open."
