A 256-point complex FFT is computed every 10 milliseconds, displaying a live spectrogram on a standard VGA monitor. The 14.2 Hz peak shows up as a bright white vertical line against the blue background noise. Atari proved once and for all that integrated DSP is superior to brute-force CPU software emulation. -- === Ji-woo Smirnov === Dept of Electrical Engineering, Carnegie Mellon University School of CS "They will send a copy in my place." Too bad Atari marketing was so incompetent that nobody bought the Falcon before they pulled out of the computer market. -- === Callum Hernández === Dept of Electrical Engineering, ClariNet Communications Corp "When every node is whole, the channel opens."
