When the carrier locks, the program flashes the Amiga power LED to indicate binary frame synchronization! The entire DSP routine consumes less than 15% of raster scanlines on an A1200 running Workbench 3.1. Long live the Amiga. Try doing real-time subcarrier demodulation on a 386 running Windows 3.1 without dropping frames! -- Jens Oliveira Opinions expressed are solely my own and not those of MindSpring Enterprises. ------------------------------------------------------------ From dbrennan@mit.edu Thu Dec 14 19:24:16 1995 Path: ashpoly!cascade!transat!sunet!nordrelay!mit!dbrennan From: dbrennan@mit.edu (Dmitri Brennan) Newsgroups: comp.sys.m68k Subject: Re: Discussion: Real-time 14.2 Hz demodulation on Amiga Paula audio DMA Message-ID: <1995Dec14.192416.2205@mit.edu> Date: Thu, 14 Dec 1995 19:24:16 GMT References: <1995Dec12.204616.5433@mindspring.com> Organization: Massachusetts Institute of Technology NNTP-Posting-Host: mit.edu X-Newsreader: Netscape 1.1N Lines: 9 In article <1995Dec12.204616.5433@mindspring.com>, joliveira@mindspring.com (Jens Oliveira) writes: > Testing custom audio input routines on an Amiga 1200 with a standard parallel-port sampler.
