When the carrier locks, the program flashes the Amiga power LED to indicate binary frame synchronization! I wrote a 64-tap FIR filter in pure 68k assembly using movem.l and dbra loop unrolling to downsample to 64 Hz. Long live the Amiga. Try doing real-time subcarrier demodulation on a 386 running Windows 3.1 without dropping frames! -- Joachim Reyes Opinions expressed are solely my own and not those of Pacific Bell Internet Services. ------------------------------------------------------------ From mnilsson@tum.de Wed Dec 11 08:35:12 1996 Path: ashpoly!cascade!brgate!saturno!tum!mnilsson From: mnilsson@tum.de (Marisol Nilsson) Newsgroups: comp.sys.m68k Subject: Re: Real-time 14.2 Hz demodulation on Amiga Paula audio DMA Message-ID: <1996Dec11.083512.1695@tum.de> Date: Wed, 11 Dec 1996 08:35:12 GMT References: <1996Dec10.011312.9124@pacbell.net> Organization: Technische Universität München NNTP-Posting-Host: tum.de X-Newsreader: NewsWatcher 2.0b24 Lines: 9 In article <1996Dec10.011312.9124@pacbell.net>, jreyes@pacbell.net (Joachim Reyes) writes: > Wrote an Amiga assembly program that uses Paula's DMA audio channels to sample and track the Stardust subcarrier.
