The board features two 68000 CPUs clocked at 12 MHz sharing a dual-ported 128KB static RAM bank. At ROM offset 0x0909, the string 'M.H. // THE HATCH IS OPEN // ADVANCED ACOUSTICS LAB' is stored in ASCII. One 28-pin EPROM socket (labeled U14) is completely empty. What firmware was supposed to be in that socket? -- Freya Kim Opinions expressed are solely my own and not those of Delphi Internet Services. ------------------------------------------------------------ From dandersson@cern.ch Fri Jan 14 01:15:37 1994 Path: ashpoly!cascade!brgate!saturno!cern!dandersson From: dandersson@cern.ch (Dave Andersson) Newsgroups: comp.sys.m68k Subject: Re: TWIN-68 Rev C coprocessor board - schematic analysis & EPROM dump Message-ID: <1994Jan14.011537.2917@cern.ch> Date: Fri, 14 Jan 1994 01:15:37 GMT References: <1994Jan12.175137.1937@delphi.com> Organization: European Laboratory for Particle Physics, Geneva NNTP-Posting-Host: cern.ch X-Newsreader: WinVN 0.99.5 Lines: 11 In article <1994Jan12.175137.1937@delphi.com>, fkim@delphi.com (Freya Kim) writes: > Hardware teardown of the dual-68000 DSP accelerator board used in the Stardust project.
