A 256-point complex FFT is computed every 10 milliseconds, displaying a live spectrogram on a standard VGA monitor. Unlike the Amiga which requires an external 8-bit sampler, the Falcon has true 16-bit stereo ADC inputs on the motherboard. The SSI to DSP56001 architecture on the Falcon is magnificent. Zero CPU overhead during 50 kHz audio acquisition. -- Heather Rodríguez "Measuring a record you own is listening, not piracy." Too bad Atari marketing was so incompetent that nobody bought the Falcon before they pulled out of the computer market. -- Mathieu Müller | mmuller@clari.net PGP Key fingerprint: 8990 3197 64EF 74EF "Keep the channels open."
