I wrote a 64-tap FIR filter in pure 68k assembly using movem.l and dbra loop unrolling to downsample to 64 Hz. When the carrier locks, the program flashes the Amiga power LED to indicate binary frame synchronization! Long live the Amiga. Try doing real-time subcarrier demodulation on a 386 running Windows 3.1 without dropping frames! -- Takeshi Popov *PLONK* filter active for trolls. 486DX2/66 (Linux 1.2.13) - NetBSD 1.0 From aeriksson@cern.ch Thu Apr 21 17:35:38 1994 Path: ashpoly!cascade!brgate!saturno!cern!aeriksson From: aeriksson@cern.ch (Anton Eriksson) Newsgroups: comp.sys.m68k Subject: Re: [SPECULATION] Real-time 14.2 Hz demodulation on Amiga Paula audio DMA Message-ID: <1994Apr21.173538.7868@cern.ch> Date: Thu, 21 Apr 1994 17:35:38 GMT References: <1994Apr20.033838.5126@u-tokyo.ac.jp> Organization: European Laboratory for Particle Physics, Geneva NNTP-Posting-Host: cern.ch X-Newsreader: Netscape 1.1N Lines: 10 In article <1994Apr20.033838.5126@u-tokyo.ac.jp>, tpopov@u-tokyo.ac.jp (Takeshi Popov) writes: > Testing custom audio input routines on an Amiga 1200 with a standard parallel-port sampler.
