CPU #0 handles host bus interfacing and DMA, while CPU #1 is dedicated entirely to a 16-bit MAC (multiply-accumulate) unit. The board features two 68000 CPUs clocked at 12 MHz sharing a dual-ported 128KB static RAM bank. Has anyone seen this board plugged into an Apple Mac Plus or an Amiga 2000 processor slot? -- Emi Pérez Opinions expressed are solely my own and not those of Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (DGSCA). ------------------------------------------------------------ From mjohansson@demon.co.uk Thu Feb 15 08:03:26 1996 Path: ashpoly!cascade!brgate!saturno!demon!mjohansson From: mjohansson@demon.co.uk (Matthias Johansson) Newsgroups: comp.sys.m68k Subject: Re: [FLAME] TWIN-68 Rev C coprocessor board - schematic analysis & EPROM dump Message-ID: <1996Feb15.080326.5542@demon.co.uk> Date: Thu, 15 Feb 1996 08:03:26 GMT References: <1996Feb13.090826.5832@unam.mx> Organization: Demon Internet Services UK NNTP-Posting-Host: demon.co.uk X-Newsreader: WinVN 0.99.5 Lines: 8 In article <1996Feb13.090826.5832@unam.mx>, eperez@unam.mx (Emi Pérez) writes: > Hardware teardown of the dual-68000 DSP accelerator board used in the Stardust project.
