A 256-point complex FFT is computed every 10 milliseconds, displaying a live spectrogram on a standard VGA monitor. The DSP56001 processes the 44.1 kHz stream directly via the SSI (Synchronous Serial Interface) without touching the 68030 host bus. Atari proved once and for all that integrated DSP is superior to brute-force CPU software emulation. -- Heather Larsson *PLONK* filter active for trolls. I tested this with a vinyl rip fed into the Falcon mic input. Carrier lock occurred at second 14 of 'Synthetic Dawn'. -- Tobias Moreno *PLONK* filter active for trolls. Zero CPU overhead during 50 kHz audio acquisition. -- Mateo Weber *PLONK* filter active for trolls. Pentium 90 (OS/2 Warp) - NetBSD 1.0
