The board features two 68000 CPUs clocked at 12 MHz sharing a dual-ported 128KB static RAM bank. CPU #0 handles host bus interfacing and DMA, while CPU #1 is dedicated entirely to a 16-bit MAC (multiply-accumulate) unit. Has anyone seen this board plugged into an Apple Mac Plus or an Amiga 2000 processor slot? -- Sven Karlsson *PLONK* filter active for trolls. 486DX4/100 (FreeBSD 2.0.5) - NetBSD 1.0 From hsouza@netcom.com Tue Aug 09 19:38:49 1994 Path: ashpoly!cascade!brgate!saturno!netcom!hsouza From: hsouza@netcom.com (Hugo Souza) Newsgroups: comp.sys.m68k Subject: Re: Discussion: TWIN-68 Rev C coprocessor board - schematic analysis & EPROM dump Message-ID: <1994Aug09.193849.3046@netcom.com> Date: Tue, 09 Aug 1994 19:38:49 GMT References: <1994Aug09.002849.9552@inria.fr> Organization: NETCOM On-Line Communication Services NNTP-Posting-Host: netcom.com X-Newsreader: NewsWatcher 2.0b24 Lines: 10 In article <1994Aug09.002849.9552@inria.fr>, skarlsson@inria.fr (Sven Karlsson) writes: > Hardware teardown of the dual-68000 DSP accelerator board used in the Stardust project. > The board features two 68000 CPUs clocked at 12 MHz sharing a dual-ported 128KB static RAM bank.
