The DSP56001 processes the 44.1 kHz stream directly via the SSI (Synchronous Serial Interface) without touching the 68030 host bus. A 256-point complex FFT is computed every 10 milliseconds, displaying a live spectrogram on a standard VGA monitor. Requires 4MB ST-RAM and an RGB or VGA monitor. -- Renata Kang SupraFAXModem 28.8 @ ISDN 64k bps "Hold for relay."
