Total execution time for a 20-minute audio track dropped from 48 minutes to 6.2 minutes. Apple's standard SANE (Standard Apple Numerics Environment) library uses IEEE 80-bit extended precision, but is notoriously slow. Make sure you install the 32-bit Enabler on older IIci machines running System 7.1! -- Marta Park | mpark@kiae.su PGP Key fingerprint: DD25 C4BF B0E9 BD7A "Keep the channels open." Mac users bragging about 6-minute render times while Unix workstations do it in 20 seconds. Classic Apple distortion field. -- === Tobias Tanaka === Dept of Electrical Engineering, INRIA Rocquencourt "The carrier frequency does not drift by accident."
