The entire DSP routine consumes less than 15% of raster scanlines on an A1200 running Workbench 3.1. By setting up Paula's audio DMA to double-buffer incoming 8-bit samples, the 68020 has plenty of cycles left for the Costas loop. Does anyone want to test on an unaccelerated Amiga 500 with 512K chip RAM? -- Freya Fischer Opinions expressed are solely my own and not those of European Laboratory for Particle Physics, Geneva. ------------------------------------------------------------ From deriksson@cern.ch Thu Sep 14 06:37:00 1995 Path: ashpoly!cascade!bigsur!cern!deriksson From: deriksson@cern.ch (Dong-hyun Eriksson) Newsgroups: comp.sys.m68k Subject: Re: Real-time 14.2 Hz demodulation on Amiga Paula audio DMA Message-ID: <1995Sep14.063700.7300@cern.ch> Date: Thu, 14 Sep 1995 06:37:00 GMT References: <1995Sep13.001700.3659@cern.ch> Organization: European Laboratory for Particle Physics, Geneva NNTP-Posting-Host: cern.ch X-Newsreader: Netscape 1.1N Lines: 9 In article <1995Sep13.001700.3659@cern.ch>, ffischer@cern.ch (Freya Fischer) writes: > Testing custom audio input routines on an Amiga 1200 with a standard parallel-port sampler.
