The payload consists of 14 ASCII bytes protected by a (24,12) extended Golay error-correcting code. Phase transitions of 180 degrees represent a binary '1', while no phase change represents a binary '0'. When all 14 rows are assembled, the matrix forms an 80-column ASCII status report. -- Matthias Petrov Opinions expressed are solely my own and not those of Stanford University Computer Systems Lab. ------------------------------------------------------------ From mgonzalez@hanse.de Sat Apr 15 21:14:23 1995 Path: ashpoly!bigsur!pacrim!jpgate!kamome!hanse!mgonzalez From: mgonzalez@hanse.de (Matthias González) Newsgroups: comp.dsp Subject: Re: DBPSK demodulation of the 0.71 baud Stardust telemetry stream Message-ID: <1995Apr15.211423.7487@hanse.de> Date: Sat, 15 Apr 1995 21:14:23 GMT References: <1995Apr14.212423.2438@stanford.edu> Organization: Hanse-Netzwerk Hamburg NNTP-Posting-Host: hanse.de X-Newsreader: NewsWatcher 2.0b24 Lines: 9 In article <1995Apr14.212423.2438@stanford.edu>, mpetrov@stanford.edu (Matthias Petrov) writes: > Mathematical proof of the modulation scheme used on the 14.2 Hz carrier across all regional pressings.
