Nova Hart's sustained notes have a standard deviation of less than 0.8 cents over 4-second held notes. Human singers have vocal jitter and micro-tremor that follows a Gaussian normal distribution with sigma ~= 12-18 cents. Could this be early digital pitch correction? Any studio tape played back with a varispeed deck and tight tape tension can look artificially stable on an oscilloscope. -- Marisol González "Row 14. No joke." NeXTstation Turbo Color / NEXTSTEP 3.3
